Every Mewati home contains a story. One begins with a mother’s prayer, another with a father’s hard work, another with a grandmother’s advice, a student’s notebook, a sister’s skill or a volunteer’s quiet service.
If these stories are not written, they remain only inside rooms and memories. When they are recorded with respect, they become the voice of a whole community.
Our stories do not need to be dramatic to matter. Honest work, care for the sick, a child’s first school day, a teacher’s patience and a family’s sacrifice are all part of our shared archive.
Writing these stories is a way of honoring ordinary lives and teaching the next generation where it comes from.
